Zuma Resources Limited has established a wholly owned UK subsidiary as it prepares to introduce SIM and digital connectivity services. The Pakistani technology company incorporated Zuma Global Ltd in England and Wales on September 18, 2026, under the UK Companies Act 2006. It disclosed the development in a notice to the Pakistan Stock Exchange on Monday. The subsidiary has a registered office in London. Its listed activities include information technology consultancy, other IT services and telecommunications. The incorporation documents name Pakistani national Sohaib Anwar as a director. UK subsidiary to support connectivity expansion “As part of its international expansion strategy, Zuma Global Ltd has been established in the United Kingdom to develop and expand the Group’s technology and global connectivity-related business activities in international markets,” the notice stated. Zuma said the subsidiary would facilitate its UK operations as the group advances preparations for a commercial launch. The planned services include digital eSIMs, physical SIM cards and other connectivity solutions. Zuma intends to deliver these through its technology platforms, including its global eSIM marketplace. The announcement places the UK at the centre of the group’s latest overseas expansion effort. However, the company has not announced a firm launch date, customer tariffs or commercial network partners. Regulatory and commercial requirements remain Zuma described engagement with the Office of Communications, commonly known as Ofcom, as part of its market-entry preparations. “As part of the UK market-entry process, formal regulatory engagement with the Office of Communications (Ofcom), the United Kingdom’s communications regulator and the company has undertaken steps to align its operations, customer framework and digital platforms with the applicable UK regulatory and consumer-compliance requirements,” the notice read. The statement describes compliance preparations rather than confirming an unconditional commercial launch. “The establishment of Zuma Global Ltd represents another step in Zuma Resources Limited’s strategy to build an international digital connectivity and technology business, with the United Kingdom expected to serve as an important market and operating base for the group’s international expansion. “The company intends to progressively introduce and market its SIM and related digital connectivity services in the United Kingdom, subject to applicable regulatory, commercial and technical requirements” From yarn manufacturing to technology investments Zuma Resources previously operated as Bilal Fibres Limited, a Pakistani listed company incorporated in 1987. Its original business manufactured and sold yarn for weaving and knitting. It also exported textile products to Europe, the Far East and the Middle East. The company announced its proposed name change on August 12, 2025, and adopted the Zuma Resources identity in September 2025. Its business now centres on investments, partnerships and strategic collaboration across technology and related sectors. These include artificial intelligence-enabled services, healthcare technology, electric vehicle technology and e-commerce. The company trades under the symbol ZUMA in the PSX’s Technology and Communication sector. The UK incorporation adds an overseas corporate base to that technology strategy, while the planned connectivity services remain subject to launch requirements.
