Jaffer Business Systems (JBS) and Mercantile announced a partnership on September 21 to expand official Apple product access for Pakistani businesses.
JBS will become Mercantile’s Preferred Partner for Enterprise in Pakistan. It will add Apple products to its computing portfolio, alongside its existing infrastructure and workplace technology offerings.
The agreement also marks JBS’s first expansion into handheld devices. The companies say it will help organisations integrate Apple technology into existing IT environments with local support.
Deployment and after-sales support
The offering extends beyond purchasing devices. JBS will support deployment, device management, ongoing service and the wider lifecycle of customers’ Apple equipment.
Services will include support for Apple Business, Automated Device Enrolment, Managed Apple Accounts and device management guidance. Customers will also have access to warranty and after-sales services through Mercantile and Mercantile Care.

The companies said authorised sourcing would provide greater confidence around product authenticity, deployment and support when buying at scale.
Apple explains that Automated Device Enrollment allows devices to enrol when employees first turn them on. Managed Apple Accounts help separate business and personal information.
JBS links devices with AI infrastructure
JBS CEO Veqar ul Islam connected the agreement with businesses’ growing artificial intelligence requirements.
“As AI data centers continue to evolve and intelligence moves closer to everyday devices, JBS is completing its compute story, extending from data centers and infrastructure to the devices people use every day. Pakistan has made AI a national priority, and AI-native organizations need more than models; they need secure infrastructure, managed endpoints, trained people and governed access to technology. With our strong presence across Windows platforms and now the addition of the Apple ecosystem through our partnership with Mercantile, the partnership gives customers a trusted route across both Windows and Apple platforms. From infrastructure and enterprise applications to AI-driven solutions, this expanded ecosystem allows us to better support customers across their technology needs. By connecting devices, infrastructure, and intelligence, we are helping build AI native organizations in Pakistan.”

Enterprise adoption and digital growth
Nauman Durrani, CEO Pakistan and SVP SAGE Mercantile, said:
“Mercantile is committed to strengthening authorized access, service confidence, and enterprise adoption of Apple products in Pakistan. By partnering with JBS as our enterprise partner, we are bringing together Mercantile’s authorized Apple ecosystem with JBS’s experience of working with complex enterprise technology environments. Together, we look forward to helping organizations adopt Apple products with greater confidence.”
JBS has more than four decades of experience serving enterprises in Pakistan and international markets. Mercantile operates as an Apple authorised distributor and service provider in Pakistan.

The partnership comes as Pakistan’s ICT exports reached $4.6 billion in FY2025–26, according to the government’s Press Information Department.
The companies linked wider enterprise technology access with sustaining that growth. They said the agreement aims to improve productivity and digital adoption while keeping devices manageable throughout their working lives.
