New Apple Devices Coming Soon: Faster iPads, Smarter Siri, and More

Apple is gearing up for one of its busiest product seasons in years with a major rollout planned in the first months of 2026. The early roadmap centres on bringing flagship-level features to more users, expanding AI support, and refreshing its core hardware lineup.

The most talked-about release is the iPhone 17e, a budget-friendly yet capable new smartphone expected to launch in February. This model will run Apple’s A19 chip, the same processor used in the standard iPhone 17, and support MagSafe wireless charging. It is also set to include Apple’s latest in-house cellular and connectivity chips. Sources say Apple plans to keep the starting price around $599, making it competitive against midrange rivals.

According to industry watcher Mark Gurman, the phone could go on sale as soon as February 19. He noted that Apple will market the iPhone 17e toward both emerging-market consumers and business customers who want strong performance without a premium price tag.

Beyond the iPhone, Apple is revamping its iPad lineup. The entry-level 12th-generation iPad will be powered by the new A18 chip and for the first time support Apple Intelligence features, including an upgraded Siri with more natural conversational ability. Meanwhile, an updated iPad Air will run on the powerful M4 chip, and the iPad mini may gain an OLED display. These updates focus on speed and AI capabilities rather than external redesigns.

Software improvements are also on the way. Apple is preparing iOS 26.4, expected to introduce the enhanced Siri experience, giving the voice assistant broader context understanding and chat-like interaction. Later updates such as iOS 27 will polish the experience even further.

Apple’s Mac lineup is set to see substantial upgrades in March. New MacBook Pro models with M5 Pro and M5 Max processors are expected alongside refreshed Mac Studio desktops, updated Studio Displays, and possibly a cost-effective MacBook aimed at education and enterprise markets. Rumours also point to future Macs with OLED screens and touch controls later in 2026.

Industry sources agree that Apple’s early 2026 strategy blends accessible pricing with high performance and deeper AI integration. If these rollouts arrive on schedule, Apple may set a new standard for early-year product momentum.
